I’m not sure how they would hold up outside. They might fade a bit but they’re pretty cheap so you could always replace them. I used two strands twisted together to get a fuller look. I wrapped them around and only lost two leaves with all the pulling, pretty tough for a cheap decoration. **Q: Are they 12 7ft strands or 12 84ft strands?** A: They are 6-7 ft sections they come nicely bundled **Q: are these faux silk and not made from boiled silkworms?** A: These are made from faux silk **Q: How do you attach these to give them the strength to hold lanterns like the first picture?
