Review: Lasted almost 3 years - I bought this chair mat 2 years, 10 months ago. I work from home so I've been sitting in a chair on this mat 8-10 hours/day 5 days a week during that time. I weight about 200 lbs, so that's a lot of weight on the mat. It didn't crack until about two months ago, and it finally became unusable last week. Getting nearly 3 years out of it was more than I expected for the price. I just bought a new one and set it under my desk/chair tonight. I will say that shipping isn't the best. It arrives in a tube and takes 2 people to unroll. The directions say to place heavy heavy objects on the mat for 24 hrs to uncurl it. Placing those objects is hard, even with 2 people, because the mat is so tightly curled. I had to leave my boxes of kitty litter and stacks of books for 4 days before it was flat. So, be prepared for that. Still, overall, it's a great product for the price.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this work well on carpet?**
A: This is not good on carpet.  I am 160lbs on short berber carpet.  After 18 months of use, the mat is full of cracks and chipped out holes as to be useless.

**Q: Does it ship flat in the box or roll up?**
A: It does ship rolled up.  Comes in a narrow box and will need to be flattened.  I recommend placing heavy flat items on the corners for a few days.

**Q: Why are you selling a different mat than the one that you have listed in the photo?  are you scamming people by switching for a cheap alternative?**
A: They definitely are cheap!

**Q: Either on carpet**
A: It will work on low pile carpet with out too much effort rolling around. Though I'm looking for something firmer....

Me gusta el tapete, tamaño perfecto, pero hay una pequeña cosa que es un poco molesta. Tengo una alfombra de pelo corto en el escritorio de mi computadora y las púas en la parte inferior de la alfombra que la mantienen en su lugar sobre la alfombra son demasiado largas y evitan que la alfombra quede plana sobre la alfombra. Entonces, cuando ha estado sentado un rato, las ruedas giratorias de su silla se atascan en la hendidura. Un pequeño problema extraño, pero en general me gusta el producto y sin duda lo recomendaría. ¿Tal vez necesito comprar una alfombra con pelos más profundos?
