I've purchased a lot of different bags throughout the years but the Sling II is probably one of the first strapped bags that I've bought that sits well on my shoulders and doesn't cause me any pain when I wear it for too long - even with my camera equipment!I travel often and I bring this bag with me everywhere. Whether you're using it as a camera bag or commuter bag, there's ton of pockets on this bag and plenty of expansion space for storage for a camera and a lens or two, pen and paper, a tablet, day to day items and even food and a bottle of water. The material on this bag is durable and holds up very well against harsh weather such as rain or snow (I've been stuck with it in both conditions). I use this for my Nikon D5200 with a mounted Sigma 17-70mm lens, and can also fit an extra lens in the padded compartment. My 7" tablet would fit in the bag as well. IWith the long bag the weight is distributed nicely when wearing the strap cross-body with the camera positioned behind you or in front of you. It is SO much lighter and more comfortable than my full rectangular Lowepro camera shoulder bag, and super easy to pull out the camera and capture a quick shot. This can also be worn on the shoulder, which is not how I typically carry it. The external pockets are really only good for non-valuable items as they are not deep and have nothing to secure them shut. Excellent and durable quality fabric and stitching, as you would expect with Lowepro. I needed a larger camera bag that could also carry personal items, was light weight, and over the body. This product does all that! It came in the mail yesterday. It is stylish, light weight, and can be folded for travel. The zipper on the one end allows the bag to expand. My Canon EOS fits nicely with the lens attached so that I can pull it out of the bag ready to go! I have room in the bag for a small wallet, passport, phone, small notebook and other sundry small items. This allows me to carry only one bag when traveling and sightseeing. The long strap is nice, not cheap and adjustable. There are 2 zippers on the top for easy access are they are durable, not flimsy. The protective inside can be removed and is purple-allowing black camera pieces to be highly visible. Another big plus for me, this bag does not scream "tourist carrying expensive camera!"
