A: Sure, the PVC can be glued to a 4” schedule 40 pvc pipe so you can certainly use it as an access point.

**Q: Does this screw in and replace current plug?**
A: Yes

**Q: What is the pipe size? One description has 4", the other has 3".  I have an existing 4" cleanout.**
A: The part number extension shows the pipe size.  The description is wrong.  -ab4 means ABS 4" pipe and -pv3 means PVC 3 inch pipe. etc.

**Q: what is the diameter of the cover plate?**
A: I believe that the description says 5'' for the 4" PVC
