Does it slide in and out from the back end?** A: I've never had to remove the old blade and replace it. I just use pliers to snap off the dulled little piece which reveals a new, sharp edge. Once the whole blade is used up, I usually just toss it. I don't know if it's replaceable or not. **Q: Where can I get replacement blades??** A: hardware store, walmart. **Q: What do you do when it jams after you replaced the blade? This didn’t happen the first time I replaced the blade** A: Just take it apart and clean it with soap and water and a small brush (like a toothbrush). This is a precision made tool, and by and far the best in it's class I might add. The specs are tight, so if a little debris (such as dirt or pocket lint), gets into the sliding track grooves, it can block the blade from extending.
