After washing my face, I use a few drops all over, and then apply a moisturizer as normal. I repeat at night as well. I've been using SkinCeuticals for about a year and I really like the way it makes my skin look fresher and firmer. I do not like the price tag.The Organic Super Vitamin C serum appealed to me because it's organic and unlike the SkinCeuticals version has great natural ingredients like aloe and jojoba oil plus the amount of hyaluronic acid is fairly high.Ingredients:Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylsulfonylmethane, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Hamamelis Virginiana, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.What I did not like so much is the type of Vitamin C used. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is more stable than the L-Ascorbic Acid version of Vitamin C (the one that shows great results in clinical studies) but not quite as active. The trade off is that the Vitamin C in this serum will be a lot more shelf stable and will last longer although in the short term, might not be as effective. It's also not clear to me the concentrations of Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid in the Organic Super Vitamin C serum. SkinCeuticals clearly states it has 15% Vitamin C and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. The Organic Super Vitamin C serum has the faintest hint of the characteristic "hot dog" scent of Ferulic Acid. It's very subtle and almost undetectable. I'm not sure how this correlates with the concentration of Ferulic Acid in the serum.It's presented in an amber glass vial (to protect active ingredient from UV degradation) bulb and glass dropper. The serum is slightly viscous, mostly from the aloe and hyaluronic acid, I assume. It seems to be colorless and mostly odorless and mentioned before. I apply a few drops to clean dry skin and it absorbs almost immediately. It does not leave your skin feeling tacky or sticky. I then proceed with moisturizer, etc. After using for a few days, I can say that my skin feels refreshed after using the serum, fine lines appear plumped and skin feels firmer and bouncier to the touch.Overall, I like the Organic Super Vitamin C Serum. I appreciate that the ingredients are organic and many are derived from natural sources. I like the amber packaging to protect the ingredients. I like that it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave skin feeling sticky.
