L'ho acquistata per consentire ai miei gatti di accedere liberamente al locale dove ho posizionato la cassettina per i loro bisogni tenendo chiusa la porta, in modo da evitare che eventuali cattivi odori si diffondano per la casa. Devo dire che funziona molto bene; temevo che i nostri due felini, ormai adulti, avrebbero avuto difficoltà ad adattarsi alla novità e invece hanno preso la cosa come un gioco e pochi minuti dopo in montaggio si divertivano a rincorrersi dentro e fuori facendosi gli agguati...Il montaggio, eseguito su una porta in laminato di legno con struttura a nido d'ape, non è critico ma richiede un minimo di precisione e gli attrezzi giusti (trapano con punte da legno e seghetto alternativo) per praticare il foro in maniera pulita. Suggerisco di proteggere da ambo i lati la parte interessata al taglio con del nastro per mascheratura in modo da evitare che il materiale si scheggi durante il taglio e di riportare sul nastro con un pennarello il profilo da tagliare in modo da poter procedere con calma e precisione.Fate attenzione che se prevedete di montare questo oggetto su una porta con qualche centimetro di spessore (praticamente qualsiasi pannello più spesso di una lastra di vetro) è consigliabile ordinare anche l'apposito tunnel di prolunga per evitare di esporre il materiale tra le due facce della porta. Nel mio caso dei 5 cm della prolunga, per una normalissima porta interna in tamburato, ne ho dovuti utilizzare circa 4.5. Attenzione anche a valutare la lunghezza delle viti fornite a corredo, che sono calibrate sullo spessore massimo di 5cm della prolunga, e che vanno eventualmente accorciate per evitare che forino la cornice dalla parte opposta perchè troppo lunghe.In ogni caso le istruzioni di montaggio fornite a corredo mi sembrano abbastanza chiare e guidano passo passo nell'installazione.Spero che questa recensione vi sia stata utile. ### ⭐ Poor design letting in cold draught :( *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2021* Poor quality, overpriced, and not ‘anti-draught’ as described!Fitted this morning in double glazed conservatory door, and I am already extremely unhappy with this product.There’s a 4-5mm gap between the magnetic flap and frame where the 2 inner yellow stops are placed. See photos.Weather today is very chilly, and a cold draught coming through the gap because there’s no insulation strip, as there is on the Pet Tek door leading into the main house. See photo.This is bad enough, but when the wind next picks up it’s going to be an even worse problem!Unfortunately I can’t return this item as I purchased it last September, in order to provide the template to the glaziers for the new conservatory - the first problem with this product!Beware, because finding the right template online is almost impossible. Incorrect measurements were found on one site after googling Ferplast Swing 11, whilst the manufacturers were less than helpful!I’m now left with the problem of finding some way to insulate this piece of cr*p. Because to replace it would mean paying £300 for a new door, as no other model will fit the cutout.I definitely don’t recommend this product.NB: The only reason I didn’t purchase another Pet Tek was because the cutout is large enough for a small person to get through - tried and tested years ago when I locked myself out! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ottima per il mio border Collie di 13 kg! *by S***O on Reviewed in Italy on 8 November 2017* La porticina per cani non è un prodotto che può essere aperto e installato subito, per l'installazione servirà l'intervento di un tecnico, a meno che non si hanno gli attrezzi e le competenze giuste per fissarlo, il mio consiglio è affidatevi a terze persone (ad ognuno il suo lavoro). La porticina è stata installata su una finestra di vetro della cucina, fortunatamente divisa a metà altezza, il tecnico ha optato per la rimozione completa del vetro e l’installazione di due pannelli su cui aveva fissato la porticina, la camera d’aria che si è formata l’ha riempita con del materiale isolante.
