Review: Earlier removes old coating with some elbow grease - Excellent product! Very strong stuff so wear a good mask. Use 00000 steel wool, it won't scratch, and a clean kint free t-shirt or towel. Soak the steelWool press out excess and immediately wipe off. You want the wool verycwet but not to where its running. Depending on how thick the coating is you may need to do several scrubbs. Tape off anything you don't want solvent to drip on. Also bought the minwax poly, don't buy it it sucks! Dries in literally 3 seconds. I tried, and messed it all up, had to restrip the top again. I'm 86 the minwax and instead using Tung oil as the finish.
