It is better than my $5 headphones which I use at work. This is truly a high fidelity system as they claim. You can listen to it and feel the difference. The volume control works well. Used these for four months now, and they seem to be very good quality. The sound is clear and it works with my iPod. We haven't used the adhesive stickers - my wife just tucks them into her waist elastic while lying on the sofa.
