I purchased this after much research as I wanted to graduate to a fountain pen and did not want a cheap , plastic behinner pen . It arrived today and here is my personal experience The black paper box which covers the solid pen case looked worn out which disappointed me The thick box lacked the finnesse which I expected but was alright .. The pen was shiny , looked like an emperor sitting in that box . Though , I felt the built could have had a better or finer exterior to give it a premium look Struggled a bit with cartridges but finally managed it by reading though the instructions on their website Went through their tutorials on how to write and get ink flowing Sat down to writing and after initial patchy ink flowing, it started writing effortlessly like a dream It also ,.comes with a converter wherein you can refill directly from the ink bottle Overall, a satisfying experience and I look forward to writing with it
