Review: Feuerzangenbowle - This is what I do with the Sugar cone..... heat with chafing burner: redwine, star anise, oranges 🍊 with cloves (lemon if you like), cinnamon sticks and light up sugar cone with rum so it drips caramelized into warm/hot red spiced wine. It's German and called Feuerzangenbowle. Will try to add picture later when alight. Photo is from prep work.
Review: BROKEN! Bad transport, no return or replace option - This is the correct product. But it was transported without cushioning in just an envelope and arrived crushed. That makes it useless for Feuerzangenbowle. Cool recipe , great for holiday but needs complete cone or looks crap. I will try to source locally now as i cannot use the delivered one. Extremely disappointed :-(

A: It's about 4" high, so bigger than a single cup, but maybe appropriate for a 2L container. I have a 5qt pot I'm going to use it on

I really had hoped for the best and not having to write a negative review so I can honestly say I’m very pleased they arrived unbroken. Although I don’t know how that happened because the packaging wasn’t great in protecting them. Needless to say I feel very lucky. I haven’t used any yet since I’m still waiting for the tongs to arrive any day now. My German husband will be so surprised and very happy when he sees the whole set up with the bowl, sugar cone and tongs. We’ve watched many times of the preparing and drinking this wonderful punch in person at German Christmas markets over the years Lots of YouTube vids to make sure we do it right. Even have the Stroh 160 rum on hand. You need a high alcohol liquor to keep it lit. Can’t wait! Buying the bowl and tongs separately saved $45.
