I needed something gentle for my hair as I ended up with a case of postpartum seborrheic dermatitis. I am using these in conjunction with a medicated shampoo that treats the yeast component of the issue and both are helping my skin barrier restore itself so I can put this episode behind me. All in all my hair feels softer and less dry or stripped after I use them. I will continue to use this duo indefinitely as hair feels healthier without all of the harsh chemicals in standard shampoos. That is one of the things I'm allergic to so my dermatologist included Free & Clear hair products on my "safe list." I have been using it without a problem for months. **Q: Does it help with dry hair? I don't have any scalp problem but I love that the shampoo is fragrance-free. Just wondering if it's good for dry hair.** A: It would be good for dry hair as it doesn't have chemical irritants that could dry your hair out even more. **Q: Does the conditioner detangle well?** A: No. I have long hair that tangles easily. I love this shampoo but the conditioner doesn't work super well for detangling. I always use another product for detangling unfortunately.
