A party game of deduction, bluff, and intrigue The Mole is a hilarious and oconversation based game. Question other players to expose their secret identities. But watch out, you're only ever one loose-lipped answer away from blowing your own cover. Can the mole track down the spies? Or will the spies unmask the mole in time? In β€˜The Mole’ you and your spy colleagues are working together to expose the mole who hides in your midst. At the beginning of each round, players are assigned the exact same location and a fake job except for one player who, unbeknownst to anyone else, will be The Mole . Through careful questioning, and subtle references to the location in which you find yourselves, you must root out the pretender before the clock runs out. Be careful: if you reveal too much about your location, The Mole will be able to guess it before the round ends. As The Mole , you must try to figure out in which location you find yourself before the game is up and the others find you out. Setting up the Round Place the Location List in the centre of the table, for all players to see. It pays to study the possible locations carefully (particularly if you end up being the Mole!) Shuffle the facedown card holders in the centre of the table. From one of the holders count out a number of cards equal to the number of players minus one. Add to this pile one Mole Card , facedown. Shuffle the cards under the table and deal one to each player, being careful not to reveal the front of any of the cards. Playing the Round Begin a timer or take a note of the time. A round lasts 8 minutes (or any pre-agreed time – you may want your first few rounds to last a little longer). The dealer shuffles the Question Cards and deals five out to each player, and asks any one player a question card from their hand. The player gives their answer and, afterwards, asks a question from one of the cards in their hand, directing this at any other player they choose. Winning At any point during the round, any player may nominate someone as the mole by demanding a vote on that person. To vote, the nominator counts to three and, on three, if everyone raises their hand, it indicates everyone agrees on who the Mole is , which means it is the end of the round and the player being voted for must reveal their identity card. If the player is the mole, then the spies have won, but if the player is not the mole, then the mole has won. If not every player votes for the same person, then the game continues.
