I think I will buy 2 for my grand daughters for Christmas. Its the excitement of finding the pearl then seeing what color of pearl you get to putting it in necklace and seeing it around your neck for the first time and for the price its really worth it. For that hard to buy for friend or family member this is perfect gift.

Even though the box said guaranteed to have a pearl. The guarantee socks how embarrassing to give somebody a gift and have to take it back with you and have it returned couldn't even enjoy their Mother's Day present and of course you know to my mom not like a friend.

**Q: Having trouble opening the pendant.  Any suggestions?**
A: Did you take it off the chain?

**Q: How big is the actual box it comes in?**
A: It's about 2 inches bigger (both lengths) than a kraft mac-n-cheese box.

**Q: Are the black pearls dyed?**
A: No they are true black pearls.

**Q: The title says 19.5" chain and the features and details says 16" chains. big difference. which one is it?**
A: Honestly, I never wore the chain I put the pendant on my own chain.  I do remember it being rather short though so probably the 16".

Necklace came tarnished and the pearl itself is small and oddly shaped, i received a white pearl in the first set I opened, the others are for gifts. It was a very neat experience opening the pearl and finding the bead inside, so for that reason I would probably purchase similar sets, but would try to find higher value sets that would have larger pearls and would ensure the jewelry was clean and untarnished.
