An enjoyable and fun way to go through the history of His Story; the way God moved through society, cu;ture, governments, religious institutions, and the minds of men from just before Christ's birth to today. This cd offers 47 fifteen minutes or so overviews of what was taking place in the world during different periods of time. It is interesting to be able to clearly see how man's fallen nature and tendency to go our own way (with temptations from the evil one) has from the very first century and before been at work to oppose God's perfect plan for us. I am already listening to this a second time and some parts a third time. Get this cd. Now that I've taken a full years worth of church history here at school I can look back and say that as a brief overview of the important peoples and events in the history of the church, this series accomplishes it's goal. I would recommend it to anyone with only one warning... I, however, can not do the listen-to-it-in-my-car-while-I-drive-to-work thing because they talk faster than I can listen and absorb the information. I have to sit down and really listen to it and take some notes. But I would recommend it to anyone interested in church history.
