Very slanted windshield may be an issue for some *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2021* I installed this on my wife's '20 Honda Fit, which has a considerably more slanted windshield that her CR-V in which I have earlier installed this same camera. While the lense can be aimed downward, the hood on the Fit is barely within range of the lense tilt.This is the closest vehicle I have ever owned to a "Sports" type of vehicle, so I am unsure if the lense would tilt downward enough for those more sportier and lower autos to cover the front hood target area. So I waited for a deal normally these cameras go up and down in price. I've seen it fluctuate from $80 down to $63 from month to month. So I waited for it go down to $63 dollars (because I'm cheap) and yeah I sometimes forget I have this thing in my car because of how it fits so well close to my rear view mirror.Dash cams are always good to have Incase I or someone makes a mistake, at least it's all caught on video. I rather feel secure if I do make a mistake (which I haven't... Yet!) To know that something is recording not only for my safety but for others. I also don't want to gently bump into someone and they say on the police report that I "smashed" into them and "dislocated" their arm or leg or neck or whatever excuse they want to give their insurance for money.So yeah great features, easy to use, easy to download and playback video. This camera automatically powers on when the accessory usb is powered on. The fixtures to attach the device to the windshield worked well, The camera can be a bit hard to slide from the mount but I would rather have that than it rattle around. the menu setup is workable but isnt that intuitive nor easy to use. To get the videos off the device isnt that easy either. In the end the videos are decent quality and will be good for helping to prove fault in an accident.
