They private labeled for them for many years. I will not use their name as we do not want any problems from them. I will include these excerpts from Activet's explanation. "In the USA the company Les poochs offered its services as a self-proclaimed "innovator in the dog grooming market" to assist with the marketing of the ActiVet brushes. However, Les poochs insisted on marketing the products under its own name (Les poochs), which appeared to make sense at the time, considering the degree of name recognition enjoyed by the brand over many years. At the time, Les poochs had no brushes in its range at all - neither did it have any experience, nor was the company known for its expertise with brushes. Les poochs and Savoir Vivre Int. GmbH decided to jointly market the Les poochs care shampoos and cosmetic products - previously unknown in Europe - in parallel (and consequently also the ActiVet brushes) under the Les poochs name. This was the "orginal" or knock off or whatever you call it from the LP Zapper. I have only used this a couple times but it seems to work pretty good. It does get all those tangles out which saves time and stress on dog. I haven't used it on severe matts that are big and close to skin yet but will be updating that soon.In conclusion: Works good and will save you time with the de-matting rakes, tools and conditioners .. Worth the price?? Maybe. Depends how passionate you are as a groomer. I am the kind of groomer that wants to get in and out the door ASAP. Would recommend to Pet Parents whose dogs tangle a lot.. Just use carefully and correctly. Especially those parents who hate getting their dogs shaved at groomers cause they're always matted. This will help avoid that. Depending on your patience, this brush can work through every mat every time. I use it on multiple dogs every day for work, and it lasted a good three years before I felt like replacing it. This is especially good for dogs who hate the usual dematter and has saved me from getting bitten by at least a dozen schnauzers with matted legs and skirts.
