Review: Sounds great - Great sounds good Review: Fantastic great value upgrade. What an aural eye opener it is... - Have been playing the audio technica AT81CP cartridge upgrade bought for my technics SL DD33 turntable for a few days now and am astonished at what i've been missing whilst playing my collection of vinyl. Listening to brian eno's latest album " foreverandevernomore" with it's frequent quiet passages it's great to hear no crackles and pops and the lack of sibilance in his vocals. The background is just Sooooo!! quiet. Moving on to Kraftwerk's "Computer world" album and the synths are clear and bright the underlying bass in "numbers" sounding deep and taut. I have a varying taste in music and everything i've thrown at it so far as come up trumps. Am now thinking of digging out some vinyl which i havn't played in a while. Step forward jon hassell and david sylvian. Long live vinyl ! ## Features - .6 mil conical cartridge - Fits P-mount turntables - Carbon Fibre Reinforced ABS cantilever - Bonded round shank diamond - Dual magnet system is combined with the para-toroidal coil construction ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B077QSCXFH | | Additional Features | Conical Stylus | | Best Sellers Rank | #94,091 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #423 in Home Audio Turntables | | Brand | Audio-Technica | | Built-In Media | Conical Stylus | | Color | black, silver, white | | Compatible Devices | Turntable | | Connectivity Technology | RCA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,248 Reviews | | Cycles | AC Motor | | Enclosure Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04961310141554 | | Included components | Conical Stylus | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 48L x 72W x 104H millimeters | | Item Type Name | Phonograph Cartridge with Conical Stylus P-Mount | | Item Weight | 0.06 Pounds | | Item weight | 0.06 Pounds | | Manufacturer | audio-technica | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Maximum Rotational Speed | 45 RPM | | Maximum rotational speed | 45 RPM | | Mfr Part Number | AT81CP | | Model Name | AT81CP | | Model Number | AT81CP | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Signal Format | Analog | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 60 dB | | Special features | Conical Stylus | | Style Name | AT81CP Cartridge | | UPC | 042005195749 826642625445 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Audio-Technica - **Included components:** Conical Stylus - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene - **Maximum rotational speed:** 45 RPM - **Special features:** Conical Stylus ## Images ![Audio Technica AT81CP Replacment Cartridge P-mount Conical Stylus (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51NUjdZraaL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sounds great *by M***L on 25 March 2026* Great sounds good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic great value upgrade.
