It simple states that It is obtained from sugar maple trees in the springtime. No one seems to know where the trees are. USA is a large producer of Maple syrup, but since now foods does not say where they obtain their syrup, I would be suspect as to where it is sourced. I personally will not purchase again for that reason. **Q: Why is this no longer Grade B??** A: It seems to me the folks who sell maple syrup decided that people prefer purchasing “Amber” Maple Syrup to “Grade B” Maple Syrup. **Q: I have bought before the Vitacost maple syrup which looks the same as this one and it had a very mild flavor. Is this has a strong flavor of maple?** A: Yes, it has a bold flavor. **Q: where is it made/sourced? China?
