A: they are Kinsmart brand with opening upper tailgate plus 1 side barn door, quality is quite good for the price point

**Q: said to be die cast. review says they're plastic. what are they made of?**
A: The top half - white section is die cast. The bottom half of the van and the underside are plastic.

**Q: Do these toys have undesirable hippie decoration (no picture match) or do they look like the photos?**
A: They do not have any hippie flower power type design.  They match the picture and are good quality. I was very happy with them.

**Q: Do they come in a box?**
A: Each one is in a seperate ziploc bag, and all 4 ziploc bags are in a larger box.

Five star review. This brand of model cars is trustworthy and have a large collection from them, build quality is cheaper but never bad at all and good value. The paint quality is great and nice details on exterior, moving functions like doors or trunks make it fun. Wind up feature works very well. This particular one was a group of four Volkswagen vans each different color. Nice color schemes like original, it's appreciated that they respect the classic and like some other brands that use super weird colors this brand is very trustworthy.
