Do you need a special shampoo?** A: I have noticed a waxy feeling in my beard the day after washing it out with bar soap and a rag. Though, I apply it very heavily and have a 3 year old beard. Also, I really don't mind the slightly waxy feeling. It's slightly more malleable than it would be if it were totally clean. **Q: What if you have no Beard would this product help grow one** A: Absolutely! A full grown beard within days of first application **Q: Is this a heavier wax than the slick beard wax? I'm currently using the slick wax, but I need a little more hold.** A: (Husband using wife's account) This will hold better than the "slick" wax. But as in most things, it depends how much and how you work it in. I use the back side of my nails/fingers to scrape it like butter. Working it between the fingers on both hands, applying liberally to the beard. Then I steal my wife's hair dryer on high heat low air to soften the wax. Use a wooden beard comb to criss cross comb to get the wax even. Use the comb to get the final shape you want then use the blow dryer on NO heat and low air to cool and set the wax. Lasts all day under 80* and most of the day in high humidity. Great wax, if you use it right. **Q: I have a lot of white in my beard. Will this product make it look yellow?** A: My beard is mostly white, I used this and the H.A. Heavy Duty bear balm. i noticed the slightest hint of yellowing similar to the color of the product but slight. Shaved beard, used another product that is white and doesn't stain called Prophet and Tools Beard Balm, it's softer and no yellowing but doesn't hold well. But my beard is whiter. Now i alternate between all 3. When i use this wax I mix this wax with the A.H.
