I have some dark patches on my cheeks from birth control & sun exposure that are my only real pet-peeve. I first tried another C serum I purchased off amazon for a few months & was overall happy with the results, but the constancy seemed a little watery & the bottle ran out pretty fast since I like to use it on my face, neck & chest. It was my first time ever trying a C serum & I noticed results after a few weeks. When I ran out of that brand, I decided to try the Poppy Austin serum due to the larger size & the good reviews. After a week of use I had 2 strangers think I was almost 10 years younger than I am. I was actually carded at a store & the clerk (who was WAY younger than me) was surprised at my age. His exact words were "No way"... & I take that as a compliment. I don't think the Poppy Austin C serum is completely the reason (because I am religious about my sunblock & other aspects of my health), but it's definitely made my skin brighter, smoother & is evening out the tone already. My dark patches are still there, but slightly less noticeable. I use it twice a day, morning & night under my regular moisturizer, sunblock & powder make-up with no issues. I will continue to purchase this serum in the future & plan on buying my mother some to try for Christmas this year.
