Since you have this model, I measured the amount of liquid it holds and it is 18oz. I'm sure they recommend filling 16oz of liquid soap without worried of overflow. Our counter hole is just shy of 1" inch.** A: I know that my sink has the standard 1.378" [1 3/8"] hole and it was sufficient, but not a whole lot of play. Sorry, I did not measure the OD of the pump as it passes through the sink. I would not think an UNDER 1" in diameter hole would be sufficient. You might need to make a larger hole with a step drill bit. **Q: What is the size, diameter of the tube? The one that comes is too soft and collaeses when you pump the soap.
