And how much coverage? And how warm does it need to be, if I take it from inside(warm) to outside(cold roof) ????** A: Like many of these kinds of products, you shake it first. The stream is fairly narrow - the kind you need to run along a seam or some similar application (not a fine spray like a window cleaner). Personally I like the Flex Seal a bit better as it applies a bit for thickly than the Rust-Oleum. Can remember the exact temp requirements but something above 50 degrees F. as I recall. One 11 oz can will do maybe 30 to 40 feet of metal seam, window trim, or related apps. Possibly a bit more if you move along quickly.I thought I'd add the note that for wider area applications (I've had leaking metal roof issues) you might want to try "Thru-the-Roof" which comes both in tubes and quart/one gallon cans. Then the liquid is applied by paint brush from the cans. This works best for large areas. **Q: Can this product be used to waterproof a tile/grout shower?** A: Yes. Have an upstairs 30" x 30" tile shower with fiberglass pan that started leaking (not from drain but from somewhere up the walls.) Could see leak from downstairs ceiling (opened up ceiling to find leak source and repair ceiling damage). No obvious cracks in tile grout or in the caulking where the tiles met the pan. The tile job is old and not high quality (previous owner). Sprayed a few thin coats of the clear sealant and the leak reduced. Ended up using two cans on walls in multiple coats to eliminate leak. Suggest washing/scrubbing walls with distilled vinegar and rinsing well before spraying to remove soap buildup so sealant will adhere to tile/grout better. Sealant went on like spray paint (did not experience any globs as noted in other comment). Keep the can moving before and after you press the nozzle to avoid uneven saturation. Cannot really see final coating over tile after drying. Maybe not suited for a high-gloss, fancy tile job but great for a standard bath tile where you are hoping to get more years of utility before a remodel. **Q: NOTHING will stick to my tub, even caulked by plumbers. Would this work?? I don't care what it looks like!** A: I am not sure about the glazed finish of a tub might not hold.
