We have not had luck with lego dragon sets.** A: My response might be too late. I just bought this set few days ago. I honestly think this dragon is more suited to be a show-piece; it belongs on a shelf! There are reasons why I say this. One, the posability is very less compared to other LEGO dragons/mechs. Also, the dragon has lot of sharp edges. Not that they would hurt but they make it difficult to hold the dragon. There's only one place that anyone can hold the dragon and that's the center of it's back.So, if a kid wants to play with this, he/she has to carefully lift it from the middle. I just told my opinion. But I'm an adult. While I always tend to think Lego sets are on the pricey side, I have to admit this particular set is pretty cool. I got it for my son for Christmas and he was so excited when he opened it. It was the first thing he played with and it was great to watch the process of him building it. When he finished, the end result was quite impressive.
