Your hair will thank you for Aunt Jackie’s Purify Me sulfate-free, co-wash cleanser. This rich, creamy, triple-action remedy replenishes moisture, softens, and thoroughly removes build up and impurities. Flaxseed is an excellent source of Omega fatty acids. Widely known for helping to prevent thinning and shedding, flaxseed, along with other natural ingredients and carrier oils including avocado & coconut, is used to help to improve overall hair health. Excellent therapy for all hair types and textures, gentle enough to use daily, and when protective styling.

Review: Perfect For Color Treated and Damaged Hair - This is my all time favorite co wash, and I have tried many from low cost to salon: As I Am, Not Your Mother’s, Carol’s Daughter, and some salon ones that are ridiculously overpriced, and just not worth it due to the cost. I have very over processed hair, and an oily scalp. I strip my re growth twice a year to a level nine or ten, and then I use Pravana to do fantasy colors. I touch up my color once every four to six weeks depending on what vivids I am using, and only wash my hair once a week. This has been my routine for the last six years. As such, my hair is dry and porous (I mean, I use Olaplex and Moroccan Oil, but I’m rough on my hair!), but my scalp is still on the oily side. It’s a fun combination of things to work with. I want something that doesn’t strip my color, gets rid of my buildup issues, and gives my dry ends moisture. Aunt Jackie’s does it all. Not a trace of heaviness at the scalp (I get the most buildup from As I Am, which is a real shame because it smells the best in my opinion), doesn’t strip color any faster than any other sulfate free shampoo or co wash, and I get soft shiny hair as a bonus. With this co wash, I am able to go about ten days between washing my hair compared to my usual seven. I definitely use a good amount, and “wash” twice in a row to make sure I get my scalp super clean. The smell isn’t my favorite (it has a light floral scent), but since it is on the light side it doesn’t linger in the hair much after rinsing. I highly recommend giving this a try if you hair is heavily processed, or curly, or both.
Review: I like it! - I had been using a co-wash I found at a discount (overstock) store, but they ran out of it and that led me to have to look into finding a replacement that wouldn't cost me an outrageous amount. This Aunt Jackie's seemed to have decent reviews, and although the price wasn't anywhere near as cheap as I was getting my previous co-wash for, it also wasn't nearly as expensive as most of the other ones seen on here. So, I ordered it. All in all, I've been pretty happy with it. I feel it keeps my hair nicely nourished and soft, but also helps to gently cleanse my hair without stripping or damage. I use this in between my shampoo days, which are about every 3 days or so. I have very oily skin and hair, so going too long without doing a nice, clarifying shampooing seems to start to make my hair look gross. However, I imagine those with less greasy hair could go more days between shampoos using this product than I am able to. It all depends on your personal needs. Now, keep in mind, I've only used one other co-wash other than this, so my comparison to other ones is extremely limited, but based on my limited experience, I would still recommend this product and I will continue to personally buy it, until/unless I find another product at about the same price that works as well or better (but so far, I have not found any others in this price range to even try and compare to it, unfortunately).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for long hot days and dirty hair.

Aunt Jackie’s Purifying Shampoo is legit one of my favorites. I use it with the 'In Control conditioner' and 'Curl La La' and my hair comes out perfect every time. The shampoo cleans my scalp really well without drying my hair out, which is hard to find. After I use the conditioner and styling cream, my curls are soft, defined, and so easy to manage. It works great after swimming too. No weird dryness or buildup. My curls stay soft and defined. If you’ve got curls and haven’t tried this yet, you’re missing out. My hair is thick and usually pretty hard to manage but now that I switched to this I’m basically just add water and my curls are hydrated, ready to be detangled and styled. The only complaint is the bottle itself. I prefer the a sturdier nozzle.
