In china they will offer to make these blades from chinese steel, japenese steel, german steel or swedish steel. The swedish steel is the best in the world for razor blades. I know this as I deal with these razor blade factories in china, their quality has improved but its nowhere near a real feather branded made in japan blade. I don't like feather blades because they are to sharp (fine edge) as they cause irritation. The best shaving blades you will find are typically American Made or Japenese made razor blades. Also there is an old razor blade factory that used to be American owned in Israel. Those blade are also extremely good. I know a lot mroe of about this as I am knee deep in the manufacturing and sourcing of razor blades. These are junk blades, its all marketing.. I give them an A on marketing. **Q: Are these blades reccomended for Women?** A: Totally agree with the gentleman, who states that he would not recommend this to an enemy (and we certainly do not want any animosity toward women!!!) I have tried most of the blades, that are available these days. Most blade manufacturers state their blades are lubricated by the coatings they place on the blades to prevent them from snagging on your skin as you shave. Its not a lubricant like oil, but a slippery coating similar to plastic that bonds to the metal for the short duration you use it. I imagine that exposure to water as you shave also makes the blades more "slippery". The machining is very crude and imprecise. The halves of the razor do not align properly. The edges of the handle are almost as sharp as the razors themselves, that’s how low quality is their machining.
