A: yes it is

**Q: Come with software?**
A: No. However, you should create an account and register your DX6e transmitter on Spektrum’s website. After doing that, you will have access to the various firmware updates via the website for your transmitter as well as product technical support.

**Q: Will this transmitter work with the e-flite umx turbo timber?**
A: Yes this will work great with any of the 6 channel or less DSMX models like the UMX Turbo Timber.

**Q: Can this radio be set up for differential thrust?**
A: The term "differential thrust" is not a term seen anywhere in the DX6e owners manual nor in RC parlance.  However, I am going to assume the question is meant to determine if the DX6e transmitter can be programmed to send "differential servo-movement commands" to the RC receiver.  Yes- this transmitter can be programmed via the front-panel controls to yield many combinations of remote servo-movement actions including the "differential" action of the servo output arm within its travel range.  The DX6e owners manual gives excellent guidance on how to set these functions up.
