You can also build up the product if you need that extra coverage. It layers well with other products, but please pay attention to the ingredients. With makeup, you want to match the basics with the same elements. So, if something is silicone based, try to get primers and concealers and creams that are also silicone based, same way for water based. The texture is really thick, thicker than a mouse, it reminds me of oil-based paint that kind of texture. The brightness is there; I bought a shade that matched me perfectly, so I am sure if you want something brighter just go a shade lighter than your usual. The only complaint I have is the tube it's in, like many other people I am sure, mine busted at the bottom after a couple of weeks, so I had to throw it away.
