Short of shaving my head, i have tried everything. U less you plan on having pink hair for the rest of your life, I would not use this product. **Q: Anyone know how to get it out? My hairs been pink now for months and I love it and everything. I just want to go back to blonde with out bleach.** A: As recommended below, Joiconwlnt remove the color. I spent an hour at the salon trying to get this out with Joico and it left my hair bleached with pastel pink. It actually looked worse than when I was just trying to let the pink fade. The problem is with the ingredients in this product. They do not react well chemically to being removed. The pastel pink we were left with wasn’t the dye but from a chemical in the dye that won’t lift. Your best bet is to let it fade and grow out, or try and lift it and dye over it like I had to do. **Q: Can I add conditoner to make it lighter pink?** A: Yes, absolutely! You are probably aware that the pink is super bright and strong, and adding conditioner (or the Color Liberator from the same company) is great for diluting the brightness. Also experiment with how long you leave it in before rinsing. Unfortunately, my parents would not allow me to bleach my hair, so we settled for just dye. For a bit of background- my hair is thin and is medium brown in color. I've never dyed or bleached it before. I just shampooed my hair (no conditioner) and wrapped it in tinfoil. Then I used a blowdryer on high and went over the tinfoil for about ten minutes. I left the dye in my hair for no more than 45 minutes. Obviously my hair was not the same color as it would be as if I bleached it, but it ended up a really pretty dark pinkish red that showed up. The good- Showed up in my dark hair without using any bleach Even though it is not the same exact neon color, it's really pretty Smells nice Easy to use Really pigmented and intense color No bleeding or staining onto clothes or towels Less is more The not so good- Stained my sink and shower ( we're gonna use bleach to get it out) You need to rinse your hair really well to get to make sure it does not stain It got all over my hands. It stained my skin.
