Review: A subtle, lovely flavor you will like - I am very interested in Japanese food and was looking for a seasoning that didn't have a seafood base. I saw this vegetable shake from Eden and was especially delighted to note that it included shiso leaf which is used in Japanese cooking. (as an aside, when you order take-out sushi, they are usually placed on plastic imitations of shiso leaves.) I tried the vegetable shake first on plain rice and it was wonderful, with subtle flavors and very little salt. I also have tried it on scrambled eggs and the flavor is very nice. The shake is also a nice substitute for the various "everything bagel" seasonings that are popular but without so much salt. I recommend this product highly!

I am very interested in Japanese food and was looking for a seasoning that didn't have a seafood base. Our bottle doesn't indicate that it's furikake, but I think that's what it is. Our bottle says "Eden Shake." It is excellent, providing a wonderful flavor and nice crunch to salads.
