It does however seem to work fine with my HD DVR Genie setup (HR44 and three C41 Mini clients). Will update review if I find otherwise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly, great replacement for 3/4 port *by N***T on October 16, 2012* DirecTV tends to leave you with a splitter sized for the number of boxes you have, but this is a pain if you have a centralized wiring closet and move your boxes from time to time. I got this to replace the one DirecTV left me, which I believe is a 3/4 port. I plugged this one in with the same power inserter and it is working perfectly. The only comment I have is I am not sure if this is actually an 8 port or not, since the power inserter plugs into one of the ports (top-left red port).
