The audio files are sorted in directories by date (every day creates a new folder) and the file name shows the year/month/day/time/phone number. It does this with both incoming and outgoing calls. Once the SD card is removed a loud annoying alarm starts beeping, so it's best to have a spare SD card ready to put in the device when you remove the original one to play on your PC. You can pick up a card reader for your computer for just a couple of bucks and this is the most common style of cards.
