Like children's coloring books, they are full of outline illustrations designed to be filled in with colored pencils, markers, crayons, or whatever other media you wish to use.Believe It or not, adult coloring books gives you a reality check. First and foremost, it allows you to touch paper. And paper, as it turns out, is missing more and more from our daily lives, being replaced with all kinds of tech gadgets. You can also feel the pen you're coloring with, sense its texture, you can smudge and smear with your own fingers. And there's no "undo" button."Escapism" is defined as "entertainment or recreation, as an "escape"... from the perceived unpleasant, boring, arduous, scary, or banal aspects of daily life." Like alway's Tali's designs are very detailed. Her coloring books require more detail than a lot of other adult coloring books. I've been working on one design since last night. I project it will take me about 4 days to complete. I like to spend a few hours in the evening working on these. For this project, I'm using Ohuhu colored pencils. I'll post a completed pic when I finish this piece.This paper is semi thin. I wouldn't recommend using wet mediums. I would stick to colored pencils, crayons or pens. You might be able to use markers but I would remove the page before you do to prevent bleeding.I wish the pages were perforated. This would make removing them easier.Artistically the designs are unique. There were a few times where the pattern didn't repeat perfectly. Occasionally I stumbled on to missing or incomplete lines.
