The cream is a rich formula used to treat eczema and itching. The cream contains 66% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The balm is a little thicker and an "ultra-rich" formula used to also treat eczema and itching. However the balm only contains 56% Avene Thermal Spring Water. The products are almost identical in ingredients but the cream is lighter with more of the spring water, and the balm is a heavier/thicker emollient with a little less of the spring water. I HIGHLY recommend this product, it works wonders on those suffering with eczema!
