Using Arduino IDE 1.8.5 could not upload sketch to Nano. Changed Tools->Board=Arduino/Genuino Uno and was able to upload sketch. The Nano thinks it is a Uno. I do not know if there are any other differences. **Q: What voltage battery for these?** A: Variable. Can connect to USB via mini-USB connecor. Higher voltages up to 9V can connect to power pins **Q: "irremote library by sherriff" compatibility.... having eliminated most other issues, i suspect incompatibility. any btdt or advice?** A: Sometimes these ship without bootloaders. You will have to flash it yourself if that’s the case.
