**Q: Can use this primer for regular paint jobs ?**
A: Depends on what you consider “regular”. On vehicles? Most definitely.

**Q: Does this have good adhesion to stainless steel?**
A: If you etched the metal with a fine grit sandpaper first on a rotary power sander, I feel based off of my experience with it, that it would do superb. I painted extremely shiny, dipped metal truck bumpers by doing just what I mentioned and the bond I got was amazing.  I couldn’t scrape the primer off if I tried.

**Q: Will it adhere to existing paint? Can you paint directly over it or do you need to paint over it with an epoxy primer**
A: Yes it does adhere to painted surfaces after sanding . No need for an epoxy primer coat . Hope this helps . Bill R.

**Q: Is this as good as poxy primer to prevent rust**
A: I would venture to say yes.

Bought this to coat some steps I had made for my truck and had enough left over to mostly coat my utility trailer. First step I sprayed too thick but it still turned out ok. If using this product for the first time do a practice piece first to get your spray consistency.
