For the casual blitz games with a friend, it makes sense to use DGT NA, as it is cheaper, while blitz functionality is about the same. Both DGT 3000 and DGT NA support US version of time delay, which is important in US tournaments. DGT 3000 is better in that respect, since it actually displays delay count down, while NA doesn't have this functionality. That feature was important for me as a player and made me I switch to DGT 3000. A from NA. Also, as previously already mentioned, if you own DGT sensory board and want to broadcast your games (time) to the internet, you will have to use DGT 3000, it can be plugged into the board, DGT NA doesn't have this feature. **Q: Can you play games under 5 minutes with this clock?** A: Absolutely!! As a matter of fact, there are several different time controls that are available for you to use. By default, many of the clock times are pre-set. You can also manually decide which time you would prefer and save them into your personal settings.
