I use them only for cold or iced drinks. **Q: I've seen multiple reviews of the base of the glasses falling off. Are the sides too thin to support the weight of the base?** A: I bought these glasses as a gift for my daughter. She is very happy with them, and said they have a nice weight to them and look more expensive in person.
