Review: I bought the 6.25 qt bowl in pure stainless steel. A tad on a pricey side, but a sturdy one. Didn't come dented or damaged. Has a nice thickness to it. Didn't come with any black spots (as mentioned by another review). Came out clean without stains from the first dishwasher run. Just a simple large stainless steel bowl made from one press.

**Q: What is the physical size in inches?**
A: 9" in diameter (measured from the outside rim edges) and 4" tall. I have four of these that I use as "oversized" salad bowls.

**Q: Can anyone let me know the diameter of this bowl? I need something for a project so diameter is more important than volume for me. Thanks!**
A: It's all rounded so it's hard to get exact measurements.  The inside rim at the top is a little larger than 8", the outside rim at the top is just under 9", the bottom diameter is about 4".

**Q: What gauge is the steel?  I am asking what the thickness of the steel is, not what type of material it is made from.**
A: I have no idea, but I can tell you this. I use the bowl for washing dishes. It sits in my sink which has a gentle slope toward the drain, as most do. Therefore, the bowl isn't sitting flat on the bottom, so, if I push on the bottom, there's a bit of a flex. It serves my purposes, and I love the bowl, but if you want it heavy enough that there would be no flex, this isn't that bowl. Not sure that helps, but I thought it might give you some idea.

A: These Fox Run stainless steel mixing bowls are manufactured in India.
