The protection box is made out of plastic but a well built plastic that will handle some dents before it shows any type of damage. It has 2 locks at the front so that we can lock it if necessary and one handle on the top for transportation which is sturdy as i have filled mine with 8x 3.5 Inch Hard Drives and 6x 2.5 inch SSD's and HDD's and it handles just fine. The maximum capacity is as i referred 8x 3,5" and 6x 2,5" but when using SSD's as you guys can see on my video we can fit 2 SSD's in one 2,5" bay so we can go up to 12 SSD's, but if we use 2,5" regular HDD's we can only fit the 6.
