Nonetheless, I proceeded. It was a bit challenging to find a way to start spreading the clip open, but once I did it readily held the wad. Without a doubt it will hold the entire 50 as stated. For me, I found that 35 bills is about the max I can insert in one folded group. More than that and I need to make a couple of groups and insert in phases. Probably better for me to do it that way anyhow so I can portion my bills into increments rather than taking loose everything all the time. After stuffing it to capacity, it still grips a single folded bill securely. This is where all of my former money clips failed... they got loose after being filled the first time, so became unreliable for carrying a small amount of bills.
