With a 9" length, these tongs are designed for easy access to your toaster, ensuring a safe and stylish way to retrieve your favorite breakfast items. Finished with food-safe oil and backed by a lifetime warranty, they are a durable addition to any kitchen and make for a thoughtful gift. ## Description The original wooDsom design, copied by many others and sold worldwide, yet none have successfully recreated the elegant tong legs that make these wooden tongs so easy to squeeze. Magnet allows for handy storage on your toaster, refrigerator, or any magnetic surface. These wooden toaster tongs make a complete closure with no extra effort, readily grip thin toast and thicker bagels. No need to buy two sets of tongs - one for toast and one for bagels. These tongs were designed to handle all items in the toaster. Constructed from American Hickory, known for its shock resistance. The combination of strength, toughness, hardness and stiffness of hickory is not found in any other commercial wood. This easy-to-use design was tested for more than 10 years to prove strength and durability. Toaster tongs by wooDsom are cut from one piece of solid wood. The single-piece design requires no glue as in some bamboo tongs, and no separate pieces to fall apart. Care by washing with mild soap and water, then lightly coat with butcher block oil on occasion to keep your tongs resilient. Nine-inch length allows for thin, strong tongs to easily reach inside the toaster for bagels and smaller slices of bread. No more popping the toaster handle to grab your food. These also work great for tea. They will be a beautiful addition to your collection of useful kitchen tools. Another distinctive lifestyle product by wooDsom - and a great gift idea for someone special. Review: Terrifyingly Terrific Toaster Tongs! - We were tired of burning our knuckles trying to fish small breads from our toaster with our shorter tongs. I don't expect much from new USA made products what with the necessary cost cutting to try to compete with imports, but WOW! These tongs are terrific. The tongs are wide enough on the sides that will be against the bread to hold anything I've tried securely and they are thin in the other direction, so they pick up anything with just a light squeeze, and I do mean anything, from bagels and focaccio to Ry-Vita (a thin crispbread) and Pita quarters. The thinness means they don't bang into grid wires inside the toaster slots -- with anything but breads so thick I probably shouldn't have tried to stuff them into the toaster anyway. They're very sensibly unfinished, they are indeed hickory -- the tough wood from which handles of professional quality knives are often made-- and the magnet is even stronger than that on the old tongs: the nearest steel surface to our toaster is the often problematical embossed surface of my refrigerator and the Woodsom tongs cling very securely. The tongs also came with a very nice follow-up letter from Woodson, to which it was possible to reply as an email reply or by using the link. Review: Wonderful Product! - I bought these to replace toaster tongs I've had for forty years, before they were commercially available (my husband accidentally broke them). I chose these tongs because they're made in the USA, and are a single piece of wood instead of two glued pieces. I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived because they're beautiful and well-crafted, not just functional. The pattern of the wood is lovely, there are no rough edges and it's super easy to remove things from the toaster because the tongs are thinner at the tips. Why aren't all toaster tongs like that? I also love the mega-strong magnet embedded in the "hinge" end. I have my tongs attached to the side of the microwave, conveniently next to my toaster. Perfect! I expect these tongs to last for the rest of my life, barring any accidents. I highly recommend these tongs! ## Features - The Original wooDsom ELEGANT, GENTLE SQUEEZE tongs. - NO GLUE Beautiful toaster tongs are precision crafted from a single piece of American Hickory for strength and resilience. - EXTRA LONG It's 9" length is all that's needed for both bread and bagels. Thin, strong 9" wooden tongs easily reach inside the toaster for bagels and smaller slices of bread. - LIFETIME WARRANTY, finished with food-safe oil, easy-to-use design was tested and proven for more than 10 years. - DISTINCTIVE LIFESTYLE PRODUCT by wooDsom. The waffles are large enough that I was using a pair of plastic tongs and a plastic bowl scraper. This product fit the bill. I knew based on the waffle size that we would need two of them. Three features stood out to me. The wood was all one piece, so I did not have to worry about glue wearing out. Second, the magnet was a nice feature. When it arrived, I stuck it right to the side of the fridge, near the toaster. Third, it was made in the USA. I will pay a little more for a product that is made here in the USA, add in the magnet and the single piece construction and that made it worth the extra cost. I have not used it much yet, but exactly what I expected. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/25788716-woodsom-the-original-premium-wooden-toaster-tongs-hickory](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/25788716-woodsom-the-original-premium-wooden-toaster-tongs-hickory) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
