It was recommended by her Doctor. Poo Pourri works really well when you have to empty the bag because of the barrier it creates on the top of the water and the essential oils for escaping odor. I would absolutely not recommend putting it in the bag (or anything) because your stoma is so sensitive. Once that gets irritated it would be hard to come back from.
