I've noticed that you have to push your 1/8" male jack into the female with some force so it's flush/fully connected. After that you'll have to pull the 1/8" male away from the 1/8" female just a slight bit for it to work perfectly. So basically it works perfect with an interface but the 1/8' jack just needs a little adjusting. You'll have to play some audio during the adjustment so you'll know. **Q: Can it be used to connect headphones to audio interface** A: Yes, I use it on my M-Audio interface head phones input **Q: Would this work if I plugged it into my headphones to connect to a microphone?** A: This will work on virtually any device with an old 1/4" plug that you are trying to reduce to 3.5 mm.
