Outside slip pockets on both sides. 3 internal pockets plus an internal zip pocket.The lining is a light color so that it's really easy to see into the bag. Also, the bag opens wide so it's really easy to open it, spot what you're looking for and grab it. Plus it's very lightweight. Yay!Aesthetically speaking, I really kind of dislike this bag. I hate the shiny nylon exterior. It looks cheap. Ditto for the gold Tumi logo. Years ago I had a Tumi tote that I LOVED. The logo was really understated embossed black on black leather. Very cool. The gold accents makes it seem like a wannabe Kate Spade.When I look at it hanging over a chair it reminds me of a beach bag.
