Chi is more expensive model, and is used by many salon professionals. The heat settings are more fine tuned and the plates are thicker and ionized, so your hair gets straighter faster. For someone who straightens their hair every single day..this is a better options because it'll last longer. Remington is a good alternative at a cheaper price for someone who likes to straighten their hair but doesn't do it all the time. Week/monthy maybe. It does heat up quickly and straightens your hair pretty well w/out burning the ends. It takes longer in time than the CHI straightener does.
