They are too large for me (I am 5'4" with short fingers) and I don't feel I have the dexterity I had with my old oven mitt. The length is perfect and prevents me from burning my arm on the oven door or shelf. The palm of the mitt works well and I never feel the heat through it but the sides of the fingers let heat through. I bought an extra pair to give to a friend but I will not do that because of the fit issue and the heat issue.
