In the halls of the Senate, decisions which shape the destiny of a civilization are made. and in the dark corridors of these same halls, conspirators work to further their own interests. This new 7 Wonders Duel expansionputs the spotlight on senators and their influence and the development of your Cities. Each competitor will try to control this influence in order to benefit from favorable decrees or call upon conspirators to try to change the situation.

We’ve really enjoyed this expansion and it adds a lot more depth to the base game. The Senate system is probably our favorite addition. It introduces a whole new layer of strategy where you’re competing for influence and trying to control different chambers, which can give you powerful decrees and even lead to a new political victory condition. It really makes each match feel different and gives you more ways to win, which keeps the game exciting even after playing the base game a lot. Overall, this expansion adds a lot without making the game feel overly complicated. If you already enjoy 7 Wonders Duel, I highly recommend picking this up. My wife and I have had a great time with it and it’s definitely staying in our regular game rotation.

My wife and I play a lot of 7 Wonders Duel, and adding the 7 Wonders Duel: Agora Expansion has been a great upgrade. We’ve really enjoyed this expansion and it adds a lot more depth to the base game. I’ve always enjoyed 7 Wonders Duel, and Agora adds a clever new layer without overcomplicating the core game. It introduces the Senate — a political tug-of-war that changes how you think about every move. What I love The Senate system adds real depth and tension without breaking the flow. Every game feels different — it massively boosts replayability. It gives you new paths to victory and more ways to counter your opponent. I never play without this expansion now; it just makes the game feel complete. What I like less It’s very pricey for what comes in the box — it actually costs more than the base game. The quality of components are consistent with the base game. I don’t like the Pantheon expansion, but Agora nails the balance and variety I wanted. I never include this expansion when teaching the game to casual players. Summary Agora makes 7 Wonders Duel feel alive again. It’s expensive, yes, but the replayability and tension it adds make it worth it. Once you’ve played with it, it’s hard to go back to the base game.
