**Q: Where harvested**
A: As of the current date, Jarrow uses 'Astapure' astaxanthin, produced by a company called Algatech.  From Algatech's website: The state-of-the-art closed system, covering more than 15 acres of arid desert land, hosts a modular array of tubular glass photobioreactors, more than 500 km (310 miles) long. The entire system is automated and controlled remotely.So - it's not 'harvested' from an ocean.

**Q: The description says, "Jarrow Formulas Astaxanthin -- 10 mg - 30 Softgels." The bottle shows 12 mg. Which is correct?**
A: 12 mg is the correct dosage I love them

**Q: How big are the gel caps?**
A: The capsules are not big, you can eat with little liquid.

**Q: What type of capsule? Gelatin, or vegetable base? Thanks.**
A: I believe it was veg base. They didn't do a thing for me by the way and I took them for 6 months so I really did give them a chance.
